We got the rare opportunity to see a street carnival in the Dominican Republic (February 2010)
The costumes at the carnival were bright and colorful and the mood in the street was energetic.
The giant speakers at the beginning can give you an idea of how loud it was! (February 2010)

Even if you don’t understand Spanish, this is a very exciting video to watch. This is basically the birth of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Domincan Republic.

We’re glad that you enjoyed it. The photos and videos were obtained while visiting the Lutheran Mission in the Dominican Republic. Many of the articles are contributed by the missionaries who work in Las Americas and Palmar Arriba.
