Seminarian Josef de la Cruz began a small Sunday School in Santo Domingo some 3 months ago. This has blossomed into a regular Sunday School of 25 children squeezed into a small patio area held in the home of a woman named Carmen. Carmen has been studying the catechism now for a month with two neighboring ladies as well. In December, we held a small Christmas pageant on the street in front of her home in order to accommodate the neighbors and the children that visited as well. it was a joy to tell these children for the first time of the Christmas story in which God is made flesh. Please keep Josef and his wife Jocelyn in your prayers, and also this fledgling mission outpost!
