In Early December, we invited the community to an open house to see our new remodeled group home. It was all ready to go, save for the orphans who had not yet arrived. Our goal was to sensitize the community to the orphans with disabilities who were to live amongst them. Some 70 adults came for the open house suggesting strong support in the community. As it was, the hundreds of hours that have been invested into the home were done, to a large degree, by many of those same people who attended the open house. Dr. Marisol Martinez, the director of our Foundation, spoke clearly of these children as God’s precious creatures. We continue to pray for a smooth transition once these children arrive.
